New Software Brings Breath of Fresh Air

A small team from Morson Projects based in Manchester are now offering a new service to the building sector. Using software developed by Flowmerics.

Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems can be quickly and easily, simulated and optimised, using the latest Computation Fluid Dynamic (CFD) techniques.

Typical applications include atriums, shopping malls, office buildings, underground car parks, stadiums, data exchanges and airport terminals, in fact anywhere passenger comfort, air quality and contaminant flows are required to be modelled.

The first application analysed was smoke control in underground car parks.
