Memorial Fundraising Sportsmans Dinner
Mick Pendlebury
On Wednesday 10th May Morson Projects held a charity dinner, in memory of Mick Pendlebury, one of our consultant Senior Stress Engineers who was tragically killed in a recent motorbike accident, leaving his partner Ange and two young children.
Morson Projects decided on ‘An Evening of Comedy’ to celebrate Mick’s life and the event was extremely successful. The Chairman, and organizer, was Phil Turner, the Morson Group Quality Manager, who was ably assisted by comedian and radio presenter Norman Prince, founder member of the Houghton Weavers comedy folk group, who was also MC for the evening, and Billy Bean a comedian from Leeds.
Both were excellent.
Morson Projects would like to thank everyone involved in any way, however small, for their efforts in achieving the magnificent total of £12,781 which, we hope, will help Mick’s family.
Particular thanks go to the Stress department personnel who for 2 months donated an hours pay per week raising a staggering total of £7,900, which is included in the amount shown.
Ged Mason generously promised to double the amount raised, so the Trust Fund will benefit to the tune of £25,562.00.
